Social & Evolutionary Psychology Laboratory

Dr. Macchione is seeking motivated and passionate graduate or undergraduate students at WTAMU to join the Social and Evolutionary Psychology Lab (SEPL) as research assistants. Dr. Macchione is not currently accepting undergraduate applications; check back in May 2025! 

 

This opportunity is ideal for students who wish to gain hands-on research experience, develop skills critical for academic and professional growth, and deepen their understanding of psychological theories and methodologies.

Research assistants in the lab will engage in a variety of tasks, including literature reviews, experimental design, data collection and analysis, and contributing to the dissemination of findings through conference presentations and publications. Students will also have the chance to participate in lab meetings, where they can collaborate with peers, discuss ongoing projects, and gain valuable mentorship.

Joining the lab is an excellent way to build a strong foundation for graduate school applications, enhance your academic profile, and become an active member of the research community at WTAMU. Dr. Macchione is particularly interested in students who are curious, reliable, and eager to contribute to the lab’s mission of advancing knowledge in evolutionary and social psychology.
